About Us
Paris Business Center (PBC) began with an opportunity to restore two historic buildings in downtown Hiawassee, Georgia. Combined with a vision to promote the strength and success of
small community businesses, PBC was developed as a regional small business development center serving north Georgia, western North Carolina and southern Tennessee.
What We Do
PBC is an education and information hub that assists existing small businesses and aspiring start-ups with all aspects of planning, owning, operating, growing, or
transforming a business. PBC staff offer individualized consulting to identify needs and to match clients with the specific resources, training, and education they need to achieve their goals for success.
PBC also houses two incubator spaces, where start-up business owners can “test-drive” their new business with low up-front costs and ongoing support from PBC staff, enabling them to focus on refining their plan, product, and operations.
Our Mission
PBC staff and advisory members work with entrepreneurs seeking to develop great ideas into sustainable, standalone businesses. We also support the continued success of established owners who want to improve, expand, relocate, or transform their businesses.
Stronger businesses in turn help to build a stronger economic environment, enhancing the sustained livability and vibrancy of the communities they serve.
